Kevin Cloutier is one of two Vice Presidents at Disability Resource Group, Inc.; a unique brokerage firm dedicated to offering individual disability products, administration and consulting services. Kevin joined DRG in January 2002 to expand our broker base throughout the Midwest . He brings with him an extensive disability background.
After graduating from Bowdoin College in 1990, he worked for Unum as a Disability Sales Consultant in the Downstate Illinois marketplace. He was a top performer in the sales of individual disability and long term care insurance for Unum and was a member of the Field Input Team that developed the changes to Unum's initial long term care product portfolio.
After a brief time with Paul Revere in 1995, Kevin joined The Hartford's Group Sales Office in Chicago as a Group Sales Representative and marketed Group LTD , STD and Life to the brokerage community throughout the state of Illinois , Indiana , Iowa and Wisconsin . In 1999, he was recruited to help open Union Central's Group Employee Benefits Office in Illinois where he remained until joining Disability Resource Group in January of 2002.
Kevin has participated in and conducted seminars on the need for disability insurance, the differences between various carrier's contracts and has helped brokers consistently overcome the perceived difficulties of selling individual disability policies.
Kevin is serving his second term on the Board of Directors of NAIFA-Chicago where he is the Programs Chairman. He lives in Chicago with his wife Janeen and their 2 children, Adam and Carly. He enjoys golfing, music and is an avid sports fan. |
